Two water rooted spider plants in vintage glass jars on a sunlit windowsill

Night Garden

Rooted Spider Plant in Glass Jar

Cuttings taken from our mother plant and left to root in still water on the windowsill, where the light comes through green and slow. Every jar holds a young spider plant with a pale tangle of living roots already reaching, held in vintage and repurposed glass no two of which match. A small wild thing, kept in glass and ready to be yours.

Easy to keep. Bright indirect light, fresh water every week or two, or settle it into soil whenever you like.

Living honey & the widow's slings

The living things on the shelf. Dark wildflower honey poured from our own hives, and black widow spiderlings raised patiently under lamplight.

Raw Local Honey

Small batch, raw and unfiltered local honey, harvested straight from the backyard hives on the greenhouse property. Rich, dark, pure nectar, poured into glass the way it left the comb.

Tasting notes

Flavour and aroma. Deep amber wildflower nectar with notes of wild clover, warm caramel and late summer blossoms, carrying a rich, lingering floral fragrance.

Pairings. Beautiful with strong black tea, crusty sourdough, aged sharp cheeses, or drizzled over warm oats and fruit.

Keep it sealed at room temperature. Raw honey may crystallize in time. Warm the jar gently in water and it returns to liquid.

The mother. All slings come from her clutch.

Black Widow Slings

Spiderlings from our own mother widow, raised patiently under lamplight in clear acrylic. Each sling is actively eating fruit flies and moving through molts, well cared for and already established. For the keeper who finds beauty in the smallest predator, and knows exactly what she is looking at.

  • Actively eating fruit flies and moving through molts.
  • Well cared for and established before they leave us.
  • Kept on fruit flies, lightly misted, warm and undisturbed. We will talk you through feeding and molts at handoff.

Living oddity, special terms

  • Handed over in person only. Never left unattended on the porch.
  • Pickup is strictly weather dependent. If it is too hot, too cold or too wet, we reschedule for the safety of the slings.

Crystal Cabinet

Wire Wrapped Crystal Necklaces

Raw crystal points wrapped by hand in fine gold wire, each turn coaxed around the stone until it holds fast, then hung from a dainty gold chain. They rest and charge on an amethyst cluster between natural bone and trailing greenery, so every piece leaves the cabinet already quiet and settled. Choose your stone and wear a small piece of the greenhouse close.

Keep it dry and away from perfume and lotion. Store it flat, out of direct sun, and polish the wire gently with a soft cloth.

Crystal Cabinet

Silver Floral Vine Crystal Necklaces

Hexagonal crystal points encased in antique silver filigree, climbing vines and small rose blooms curling around the stone, hung from a silver link chain. Each one is charged over natural amethyst clusters and wild bone before it goes out. Heavier and darker than the gold wraps, for the nights that call for something with weight.

Keep it dry and away from perfume and lotion. Store it flat, out of direct sun, and buff the silver gently with a soft cloth.

Crystal Cabinet

Raw Clear Quartz Point Cord Necklaces

Rough clear quartz points, each finished a different way and strung on soft black cord: one capped in silver, one caged in gold wire, one held by a hand coiled spiral bail. Unpolished, cloudy and full of the natural fractures that catch lamplight. Displayed and charged on amethyst druzy beside wild antler until they leave us.

Keep it dry and away from perfume and lotion. Store it flat, out of direct sun, and wipe the point clean with a soft cloth.

Our backyard apiary

Hives in the garden, honey in the glass

Our bees live a few steps from the greenhouse, in white hives beneath the fence line. We tend them by hand through the season, and take only what the colony can spare. Every jar is raw, unfiltered and harvested in small batches right here on the property, so what you pour is exactly what the clover and sunflowers gave.

A candlelit greenhouse at dusk with fogged glass panes, hanging herbs and apothecary bottles

(c) Our story

Kept in glass, handed over at dusk.

Nothing here is rushed. We tend a small greenhouse, root cuttings by hand, and pour honey only when the bees allow. Each parcel is wrapped in dark paper and sealed the way an old apothecary would, quietly and with intent.

Come in, stay a while. The candle is lit.
